wet Monday

The trees are starting to change colour, a friend has suggested we visit the Wye valley to get a really good display.

Work was all risk assessments I found fire doors that were opening the wrong way and window less rooms with both exits in one corner, shame if you get caught in the other one.

P had his first day as a banker not quite how he describes himself but it sounds the same.
Joining the profit hungry city types , who would have thought, still only a temp job so he should not be too corrupted by the suits lifestyle. Imagine a P without Kathmandu pants and jandles.
As long as he has the red anorak I think we are safe.

He had a long talk to his mum and a catch up on all the family. If anyone from the bagpipes reads this I think you are rotten for not having a farewell party with a gold clock presentation.

C has rediscovered her love of public speaking having had to present Uni assessments and is wondering what profession it can be used in, maybe prime minister?
Bells are ringing better go to bed.

Nice to know you have a going-to-bed bell! Usually people have bells to wake them up, but why not reverse it, you are on the other side of the world.
Lovely quote for you Antipodeans from the "new" (written 1963, published 5/10/2007) Janet Frame novel: "The Southern Cross cuts through my heart instead of through the sky" ... Shirl
