Saturday
Had a long walk up White Ladies Road to Black Boy Hill, all shops so I pottered in and out 9,340 steps in all.
Then to watch the England France rugby at a kiwi couples house north of here. Was lovely to have a catchup and nice meal. He is a bit nervous that all his English
mates will give him a hard time ( they have been here 6 years), and the texts had started as soon as the game finished.
Sunday
Today was incredibly still autumn day so I walked the Avon Pill cyclepath and walkway. It starts by following the river through the streets by where we live then head under the Clifton bridge and out into the country. It was lovely, the trees all orange the water was missing ,being low tide , so boats were stuck high and dry on the mud.

There were strange old houses and some hares in a field. All in all a lovely afternoon out
15,694 steps,2 1/2 hours or 5 miles later and I got to Pill.
Himself who had laid on the couch reading a
book all this time came and got me as it was getting a bit cold and my feet did not fancy a walk back.. Tried to convince himself to walk back, that the exercise might do him good and that this particular walk was one he thought would be good but he drove home instead.
More rugby tonight will just go to local toto.

C has her birthday present the postal strike here not slowing it down at all, and she has already opened it 2 weeks early and taken a couple of the things out... be nothing left for the day.
