pets

It must be winter and inside time, we have been here 6 months with 6 more to go and I feel the need for a pet, silly I know as we won't live here that long and they tie you down ......
Cats and dogs are out because of the lease, birds are noisy so that leaves fish ( I have nice fish tank screensaver at the moment and it even makes bubble noises. But the thing is that over here they have lots of cut little fluffy things, and yes I know they are all rodents but look at the photo isn't it cute. It is a Syrian Hamster. ( when the programme will actually let me do it )
Yes it is a lot cuter than P I know, he seems worried that something might replace him in my affections, and if could be trained to put its own socks away maybe it would.....
There are big bangs outside, fireworks I think but no lights, only noise. There are many displays next weekend so we will have to find one to suit.
Hopefully C's hostel will have a nice halloween party and she can celebrate her birthday.
Or what about a gerbil even the name is silly, you can buy balls for them you pop them inside then they run all round the room. Good thing C does not live here we would have all of them as pets at one time or another as well as the rabbit, birds, fish, cats and dogs we did have.
