We had an amazing storm last night, thunder, lightning and sheets of rain. I was very glad not to be out in it. Being on the forth floor it seemed the lightening was right out the window.
When I got to school ( and I drove there without a single wrong turn so proud) the school gym was flooded, so much rain had fallen that the guttering had back washed into the building, new floor needed. and a Science lab roof had come down. It hit out there at 4.00 so if I had been at work I would have been part of the clean up. They said the lightning and thunder happened at the same time so the storm centre must have been right over head.
Car had a slight glitch with the indicators not working and I had to put my arm out the window ( I soon realised something was amiss when people tooted every time I did a lane change)
Tool it back to the garage after work and a mechanic took bits out of another Astra and put them in ours, no better, undid and did up various bit of car, then after 30 minutes hit the dash in frustration and they worked. That's when he remembered he had come across this before and it was a loose hazard light switch was interfering with the indicators, a tighten and all better. And the radio goes better now too.
