Busy days

Friday night , ( Strange but nice hand thing I found on a walk)
Friday went for a drink in the "llandoger Trow" an early 18Th century pub in King st ( the one closed off and all pubs and tables outside) . Then to Aqua a restaurant for a meal I had the Thai green curry and raspberry creme brulee very nice. As we had the cheap before 7.00 meal deal we were out by 8.30 so we went to a movie. French thriller "Tell No One" was very good. Then walked home our first time in the night club/pub area that late at night. The normally empty bars were full ... average age 17. (We passed a man in leather pants the sort with the bottom cut out (he did have pants on tho and carrying a leather head balaclava sort of thing hmm). Don't think I will get P the outfit.

Saturday dawns, (St Mary Redcliffe with arty sky actually taken at sun set )early start the post man knocked at 8.30 with a letter to be signed for, he comes into the building up to the 4th floor and puts our mail through the slot, must get very fit.

Then off we went to Bedminster, in the rain, to look at cars. Found one we liked, checked a couple more car yards and them bought the first one. It is a Vauxhall Astra diesel turbo, a lovely teal blue colour, 5 door hatch with sun roof. We negotiated a new warrant of fitness, a new car aerial and a 3 month warranty so are happy with that. Will collect it on Tuesday, P away to London on Wednesday for a week so I might drive it to work.......if I can find the way. I thought with him away I might visit some of the beaches near work, Western super Mare, Clevedon and Portishead all have beaches. Be nice to be mobile again.

P is going up for a week and I will go up to London at the weekend and stay Saturday Sunday and Monday, up on the train and back on the bus. Then he stays on ( be our longest time apart since we got married and the longest I've been on my own in years, I get the Internet connection so at least I can keep in touch). Swans Geese and duck that Mia fed.
