gong

Went to a "Welcome refugee" fair at our local park, Queens Square, lots of African dancing and tents for ...... healing involving the laying on of hands, and Indian head massage.

African drumming and dance ( I wish I had gone to the women's workshop they sounded like they were having great fun) food stall, poetry reading, free Tibet.

I had a chimichanga for tea , it was a wrap of black eye beans, spinach , cheese with avocado, chillies and salad with an organic lemonade. We watched Polish dancing and Zimbabwean singing and rap. My favorite ( see photo) is the man who does Gong healing, you sit with your back to a big gong and he hits it moves it up or down and hits it again. I think you would say you were cured just to get away.

Himself has spent 70% of the weekend with the laptop on his knee and not blinking for hours at a time, maybe I will get a gong....
