New Home we hope

Lovely staying with C & M and their fun daughter Mia who is 5.

We walked and walked and walked and signed up for agencies for jobs in the morning and then walked and collected flat choices in the afternoon.

By then end of the day I had a job interview at the Priory all those chick lit readers will know this is where the rich and famous go to dry out, but is was credit collection and not that well paying and till September so said no. The second job I have an interview on Tuesday is with Coca Cola doing gen admin and their area budgets! Will see how that goes.

On the home front we looked at a grotty student type flat, a nice 2 bed one with parking but a huge tree out the window and the foyer smelt like sick....

Then a warehouse conversion with big arched windows and sun on 2 sides, huge thick walls so you can sit on the windowsills as they are only a foot from the floor we have signed up for this one. It comes with 2 parking spaces so will try to rent out one.It is right on the "floating harbour in Ferry street for those of you who can check maps. so in the middle of town and transport would be easy to get on the buses ( I know Claire ickky buses , who would have thought)
The picture with the water is the building the flat is on the 3rd floor and facing the other way, does have a nice long view and a church in the middle rather than buildings.
Big problem is that we have no UK references or credit history so might be a no.

Bristol has lots of lovely old buildings and I looked the one here called the lemon tree all low ceilings and dark wood.

Today is car hunting day and then we will insure it for more than it cost! as we are non UK res. and then head back to Bristol via the coast to my interview on Tuesday. P has been told he can supply teach anytime he wants just has to advise what day he wants to start.
