Bath but no swim

Bath was lovely , once we finally got our act together and got over there. Then a lot of not fun finding a park.

Perry's dad Clive & his fiance Marilyn were waiting for us, so nice to see folk from back home.

We went off to the Roman Baths which were smaller than I expected but covered a lot of ground under ground if that makes sense. The had Turkish baths , cold plunge pools and a sacred pool and the main wallowing about pool. Not meant to touch the water but I may have snuck my toe in, it was quite warm.

Then we did a wander with the boys going to an astronomers house and M and I checking out Jane Austins house and No 1 the Royal Crescent, well we went into the shop and snuck into the kitchen only to be kicked out ( looking all innocent ) entry for all these things is 10 pound so we pick and choose. Then we lay on the grass in the Crescent and waited for the men.

Went to visit the weir and bridge with shops over, didn't got to the garden as it was a charge as well, and but it think it include the hire of a deck chair.

Nice day then home and made good kiwi tea of sausages and veg with ginger cake and custard, a change for them after having 4 weeks of eating out. Was so lovely to have people to stay and more of you are welcome , the bed was sleepable. and the bells did stop at 9.00 ( it was Thursday practice night )
