friends

It was lovely to get comments and emails. Signed into skype tonight and there was someone waiting to chat sadly our sound was horrible they sounded great but we kept breaking up.
Can write in real time so we had a written conversation instead.
P has had his two days in Kew Records office and then a 3 hour drive in motorway traffic that was at standstill for chunks of time.
He said to tell Shirl that there are lots of baby birds there at the moment, shame she doesn't still work there they could have had lunch. Not the birds probably a panini.
He looks very tired now, keeps yawning but needs to finish the newspaper sudoku before going to bed.
Meanwhile I have been going to work , on Wednesday the bus was early and I watched it drive away from 20 mtrs away and had to wait 30 mins to the next one. Today I got there early and it was late so still had a 20 min wait aarrgghh. Still I got to sit upstairs all by myself and check out the back yards, the allotments are my favorite all those little gardens with vege and bits of string to show where each one ends. I can see my dad pottering about in one, nice neat rows of potatoes.
Moved office as the man I am filling in for comes back on Monday, still in the new building but sharing with my PA and the senior management team PA, will be nice to have people to chat to about the weather.
We went out to lunch yesterday, and he is a really nice guy, he wants me to stay on and keep working so thats good.
Got a quote for a haircut, 80pound or $240 so don't think I will go there.
Now P has had 2 days off work and been to London I think I might book a treat and go to Bath Spa for a soak in the pools..
Plan to go to Wales this weekend will take the train, feel we should go while the weather is wet it seems Wales would be best when a bit boggy.
