We had a sunny day for Tuesday whereas in other parts of the UK there is dreadful flooding, even 100 miles to the north of us villages are full of water and the drinking water has been contaminated. We have got off lightly, not really summer tho. Today rain again.
I worked the morning and then we had the school end of year BBQ ( in the school hall) then the farewell speech's, they had a sweep on how long it would be, winner guessed 2hours 15.
The Head speed up but still never got the time he chose ( other speakers dawdled a bit)
Yes it was a long event including some rather thoughtless comments on peoples past/behaviour that I am sure the speakers will regret.
The harbour festival is on the weekend and all sorts of displays and fireworks.
Sadly we miss the hot air balloon fest as its in August, 500,000 people here to see balloons from all over the world a huge event sad we will be away as I was looking forward to it.
Have started packing for Italy and P is busy checking photos and stapling things.
