Festival

Hi all
A stunning sunny day for the first day of the Festival so we headed off and bought Pain au raisin for brekkie. Then with Carlie and Mia spent the next few hours wandering about the stalls, sitting listening to the bands and dj's and watching Mia have various rides.
Lovely time, now home for tea ( french brie, Italian bread, uk pickle, Turkish avocados) then out again for the fireworks, sadly it's drizzling now, still might keep the crowds away. It got so busy they had to shut a pedestrian bridge that was getting overloaded. The poor man had to say over
and over "the bridge is closed," when P suggested moving a barrier over the entrance the man said he is not allowed to move them because of health and safety regs. an official barrier mover has to do it!!! just like NZ really.
hope you like the pictures.
