"what is the matter" I asked , as you would."
He threw food at me" he replied.
"has this happened before?"
He threw food at me" he replied.
"has this happened before?"
I then rang the head of his year group and asked if her could go see her, meanwhile he whimpered and cried and said it is not fair over and over.
Then being a boy asked
"what sort of car have you got miss?"
About this time a large man wandered past the building so asked the boy if he knew him, it was the Headteacher (principal) so I waved him down
then the Head and I stared at each other for a while as he tried to figure out who I was , how I came to be in a supposedly empty office and what I had done to make a small boy cry.
I explained who what where and why and he sent the boy off and we made an appointment for next week where I can dazzle him with the excitement that is Risk Management.

Rest of the day quiet, at lunchtime I drove to the seafront to see the Pier, the beach ( mud at low tide) no donkeys today. The picture was in summer there was no one on the sand today.
Tonight walked then had a drink at the Hole in the Wall, then as we settled into our evening we heard kids voices and when we looked out the window we saw them climbing across a rope from the wharf and an old fella with a torch chasing them. We went down to see if he was all right and another man told us the kids had pushed the man in... P and I found a set of binoculars, spark plugs and numerous tools which we gave to the chap on the wharf. We then went for a walk round the block and saw the kids hanging outside a Starbucks ( outside the hostel for unemployed youth). P was all for getting a camera and taking their photo but I am sure they would have thrown him in as well. On our walk back we met 4 policemen who had been called to see what was happening, so we gave them the details of what we had seen etc and left them to it.
They had not been able to find the man that was thrown in so I suggested they follow the wet footprints on the jetty, so funny, they thought that was a great idea.
All in a days work.
