Metz

After Sedan (it was from here the name of the sedan car came as the quality fabrics that they makee here were synonymous for quality in sedan chairs and later posh cars so posh cars became sedans).
we were going tovisit two ww2 sites but p got carried away on a follow the battle of thetanks that was sin postd and we spent all afternoon touring  the countryside looking for bunkers and signs.
we found this one which perry explored in  great detail.

lots of nice countryside and small villages and the odd country chateau
like this little country place.

made it to Metz and our hotel which is in the station  plaza  fortunatly not too busy although itis a fast train stop you cant  hear them at all.

New day and off to Luxembourgh on the train.

they were having a paint an elephant fund raiser hence the photos.

also a  good market where i bought  some tasty plums.
lots of old buildings, the worst hop on hop off bus tour ever, as the best streets are people only  the bus tour went around the economic and  new built banking areas... boring.

bacck to Metz and out to dinner, huge poritons but helpful waiter thaat  go me a vegetaran omlette and a really nice coffee withcoffee icecream dessert.  so full i cant move and need a foklift to get me up to the hotel room. waiter must havve been ecellent as p left a tip!!!!!
had a nice chat to the couple nextto us from Moscow' his english was perfct and he teased perry about being a hobbit in jandles.
