Germany, Speyer

Now in Speyer on the Rhine, home of a large cathedral and lots more of the buildings with wooden features and pointy tops.

View from our window last night, the stained roof had the storks roosting  on it all night.

They are having a feast day here tomorrow where they put a long table down the middle of the main road and have food in tents made by the local restaurants and then every one sits down and eats together.  We might stay. They also have a huge technology museum wi a 747 mounted on a pole and lots of other planes etc.

Also hope to do a day trip on the Rhine.... How to fit it all in?
