Yes I do have a job. Went to the interview Friday morning and I thought the interview had gone well. Agent rang and said it was all go. I then asked her to negotiate travel costs as it is 45 Min's away and I will either have to drive or bus from here to Edinburgh railway station and then train to Bathgate and then walk 1.23 km to the company offices. managed to get another £1.50 per hour so that should cover it.The company is part of a large US/EU pharmaceutical group that makes drugs, packages them, does clinical trials etc.
My job is a Management Accountant preparing month end plus management reports, cash flows and helping prepare for the auditors. They have huge amounts of data so I had to brush up on Pivot tables etc before I went.

Still pays well and I get December off and more work when I get back ( they must be desperate ) I better do some more excel practice and look up the differences between US and EU financial reporting as we prepare schedules for that as well.
I then went to town , cancelling another agency interview and sat in the scorching sun in Princes gardens and watched the world go by.
I had a "rescue " haircut to even up the crooked back the last guy did so now I have really really short hair but at least it is even.
To celebrate us both having a job we went to the pub and had a beer in the sun and then another one for a pub feed.
I have lost my husband, Wayne in NZ and himself have started playing a war game over the
internet and it sems to take hour and hours of his time... not that he didnt always have the laptop on his lap anywayIt is 1.00 Saturday so I am going to drag him away and we will go to the local park where they are having an international cultural festival . Nice photos from our walk a boat and P and the Scottish parliament building with reflection.
Working yeah after 3.5 months off it will be a struggle but as the council tax bill came today it is good timing really.

Went to the supermarket and bought some plants, one for the flat ( nice coloured begonia and a heather to plant on the gr gr grandparents grave. I am sure James and Mary would like that. Not today though as the rain has started ( now Sunday here Saturday was lovely and warm)
