Lots of flashes and bangs

We went to the Fireworks display for the end of the Festival. It was a full hour long and had the Scottish Chamber Orchestra playing in the gardens under the castle.
All the fireworks were set off from the castle ramparts a large area so at times the fireworks shot back and forth at each other. Was a huge amount of noise and smoke, a bit like being under siege for the people living there I imagine.
Some great combinations of colour and music, I managed to get P to stop taking photos ( he got 173 of them) and actually watch the fireworks as it is a different experience looking at it versus a camera view finder.

One of the best was a waterfall effect that was the full length of the castle and as the sparks fell they landed on the cliffs below and made it seem like water. It was amazing like something Disney would dream up or a Chinese movie.
New work tomorrow... a bit nervous new people etc.
