E fest day 2

Today we managed 2 both free hand out of tickets, just right place at right time, ok we do lurk a bit hoping,
Chap on the right was one of those "dress up and stand very still people."

First Play was called Like a virgin and was very good we were dubious but the acting was excellent and it was funny and sad ( the main girl died of cancer a virgin). sounds gloomy and we all did cry but getting there was funny.

The second play we had to tramp to the top of Calton hill and sit in a tent (only about 15 of us in a biggish tent)
One woman show called "exit napoleon chased by rabbits" she was amazing
the facial expressions were so expressive ( had sad clown makeup on) any one who knows Julie R from OGHS would have thought it was her, arms akimbo under her armpits and all.
It was Nola Rae and she got an MBE this year for her skill and is Britians world famous dramatic clown.

I am sitting in the sun in our lounge we face s.west so get all the sun from 5 till gone ( 7.30 at the moment and lovely)
might have a day off tomorrow and job hunt and apply, yuck!

we have booked for two of the prime acts for next Tues and Wed ( using newspaper free passes they have 10 for each show at a different venue on each night and we managed to get one I wanted and one P wanted.) note the worlds biggest coffee.

and a shop with a sign for a sword sale, dont get that everyday.

Some other random shots. of a pub and our flat we are far left sticky out window
