We are set up now in the house sit with our new best friends hersheys, scarlet and blue, 2 labradors and a cat. The dogs have settled in really well to new minders and are always happy to see us if we pop out and come when called at the park. we are running them twice a day at the moment and when we get the car will take them for day trips, better see some lochs while we are here.
Went to Edinburgh today, what a lovely city. It has a real nice feel about it and our plan is as before to move there after the house sit. Only problem is that the international festival is on in August and some
landlords can charge 1000's for the period so hold off signing up long term leases. We shall see.
The castle was great sitting up on the mound, we did a walking tour, and visited the Grey Friars Bobby cemetry, many museums and churchs and the place where the Harry Potter books were written.

I have included a photo of a nice display of kilts, a floral clock (being planted in the gardens, they have to lie on a ladder and plant small plants very close together ) and the installing of a new statue... lots of excitement lifting it off a truck and onto a plinth.

And the Queen was here at Holyrood castle nice that she popped up to see us.

There should be more about the cat, please. why mention the dogs and the queen, but no detail about the cat?
