We headed off to Edinburgh ( on the train only 45 mins v 1 1/2 hours on the bus)
We went to two employment agents and I sold myself again.... aiming to get 25pound an hours again if I can seems a shame to drop. Will try to get small projects and contract work the sort of thing that the employer has to do but is too busy or does not want to do, there are lots of compliance things that fall in that basket. P went in as well but need to upgrade his CV to earn more money.
Then we got the bus to the airport and we had forgotten than even on the internal flights you need to do the plastic bag for small toiletries and so I did a repack of the
overnight bag and put the small ones in a plastic bag and just left the others and hoped they did not care too much... and they didn't it all went through. P had thrown out his little pocket knife by then as it would not have got through, shame really he has taken it to lots of airports and has remembered to put it into the hold bags. I beeped going through the metal detector so got a pat down by a nice customs lady.. almost like a light massage.
Stayed the night with our Italian friends in the same building we lived in in Bristol it was sooo nice to see them and the girls.
Then off to pack the car ( photo attached ) how we managed to get it all in is one of the mysteries of life....
Then a quick coffee with Meg and we were off to Glasgow. Hit the motorway at 11.30 and after
a couple of stops got in to Glasgow at 5.30 so 6 1/2 hours from one end of the country to the other almost. Being on the motorway made it so easy with no on coming traffic lots of lanes for passing and no roundabouts of lights. Yeah the M5.
Faye was very surprised to see us thinking we would be back late
tomorrow.
Bit tired but still walked the dogs in a small patch of sunshine.
