more

We have not done a lot, well we shopped at a market , 100’s of pairs of shoes and lots of cheap clothes, bras, belts etc but nothing very nice.

Spent a morning at the Abbey I managed to match some photos for P and bought some stamps from the old father with dandruff in the tourist shop. We went round the Polish cemetery with a german shepherd ( the dog) that followed us in and then round the graves, I am sure the other people there thought it was ours.

When we got home P and I went for a long walk along the hillside to another village where the photo of me was taken. And a photo of a rather nice villa.

Still sunny in the mornings and then thunder and heavy rain in the afternoon and night. I had to walk up the alleys in bare feet yesterday to avoid getting my shoes soaked, it was very slippery

Last night they had a party at the church in the valley they had karaoke and we could hear the singers clearly from here. They also had one round about ( sort of swing out chairs style) which played heavy beat dance music. It was also easy to hear from here so we had a strange mix of sounds. We stayed up to watch the fireworks and even though they had them in villages in the distance our one did not.
Then at 8.00am fireworks went off this morning…. Broad daylight, so a flash no colour and a huge bang over and over…. Why?

I spent the day with P and we went photo matching and went to the German war cemetery, there were 20,000 dead and lots were unknown soldier.

Saw a scorpion, it ran out when I lifted a photo of the Pope up in a roadside shrine, and a yellow snake at another stop.

Now home and raining, they have let off more fireworks but it is still daylight and raining……. Maybe they only like the bangs.

Pasta for tea ( what a surprise) ciao
