Had a day trip to Bradford on Avon, a quaint very old village, looks frightening expensive place to live. All stone buildings and a very full, fast Avon river. We wandered about, up and down lanes and visited the local antiques fair, he bought a War book and I bought an antique silver locket, now I need a small photo of my loved ones.
Walked through a Saxon church
We had a lovely afternoon tea in a tea house founded in 1765,
I had a toasted savory scone and he had a yummy lemon curd cake.We then walked to the Tithe Barn and along the Avon canal, checked out some locks and riverside taverns as it was now pouring with rain we headed back to the car, it was pitch black cos it was 4.30!

A very nice day out.
