A walk in the sun

We spent Saturday morning in town watching the all blacks game in a really nice pub in the West End ,Teuchters. And it was a great game with NZ winning, passionate haka at the start I wonder they had any energy left for the game.

Sunday we went to the graveyard and planted a heather on my great great grandparents grave, I hope it grows. ( a hair staightened day if you wonder if it really is me)

Then we went to the botanical gardens for a wander about, I want a bird feeder for the tree out side our lounge window, need to get a squirrel proof one ( although I would like to feed them it is not a popular thing to do)

They had a fossil tree that was 3 million years old I love that you are not allowed to throw stones at it.

We went in the glasshouses ( hence the banana tree flower) and to an advertised wild food exhibition, turned out to be one man and a table of berries and nuts. A bit underwhelming.
