Bus... Train.. Walk

Odd though it maybe on a Saturday we went to my work.
The drive home on Friday took 2 1/2 hours due to congestion and an accident on the motorway, so I decided to try out the public transport system.

We ( because came too ) got a bus from home to the centre of town and outside the train station, got the train to Bathgate a nice quick train that runs every 40 minutes, then we walked to work along the road and a bike trail. Total time 1.2 . Could be quicker if I can sort out a bus from the train station to work, there seems to be a list of them at the station it will be all about timing on the day I think.
Best thing is I can read on the bus and the train and not be sitting watching tail lights and having to be alert in the car.
Nice stroll around Bathgate listening to the Native American group playing music in the mall and lunch then home again.

Hardly worth blogging really. Tomorrow we are going to buy shoes so himself can play badminton as we have signed up at the local sports centre for 10 weeks, (I have my shoes already). Us and a whole lots of Scot's I wonder if we should wear mini kilts to play in?
