was great, it was in a lovely old Theatre ( Royal Lyceum) which had lots of gilt and red and private boxes round the edges . It had a magnificent chandelier but I can't find an image of it.
The play was very well acted and I understood it all, it would have been so much easier sitting my school English exam if I had seen the play and not just read it, and had readings in class.
The actors in the main roles were especially good ( I suppose that is why they got the job!)
Out damned spot I say.
Then we went to an Indian restaurant for tea but I had a sore tummy so it was a quick meal then back for a soak in the bath.
Sunday up late a nice sunny day, blue skies...so we spent it shopping for a bed for Linda who is here next weekend. I have tidied up the spare room and stacked all our spare stuff and after a trawl through two malls we managed to find a bed,
I also got new patent leather black shiny shoes for me to replace the ones with a broken heel. and 2 books on cd that I can play in the car, if I am stuck for 45 Min's twice a day I might as well enjoy it and I know the radio play lists and all their adverts by now.
Then a huge shop for food ( wine. beer) all the essentials we are home.
Himself and Wayne had a chat on Skype and are starting their next war game so I guess that is himself sitting not blinking staring at the laptop screen for a couple of hours a night again. (Still at least I know where he is)
