Autumn colours

We went for a drive to collect my visa card from the courier depot only to find it was closed ( could be that P getting up at 11.00 and not being ready to go by closing time of 12.00 had something to do with them being closed.) There was a chap on the other side of the really high electric fence but he wanted to get out and could not because it was all locked !

Then to the wrong supermarket to take back Linda's deflating bed, finally got the right shop and a new bed , so anyone else who visits might sleep all night without hitting the floor. ( see photo of P blowing it up )

The plan was to head to a glen int he country that was advertised to be a vision of autumn beauty.... we drove and drove and finally found it. What a disappointment a small area mostly used by dog walkers no trees of any colour and very boggy!!! P not impressed especially when he left his jacket in the car and got rained on while we walked.

Then drove to West Calder and had lunch and back to the car. We stopped at the Union Canal at Ratho and went for a walk along the canal path for 45 mins or so, was very pleasant until P ate
some blackberries and managed to get stung by nettles on the wrist.

Stop at the supermarket were we got 2 jigsaw puzzles for £2.99 and a lot of food and headed home.
Sunday P up at 12.00 and it is 3.00 and he is still in his dressing gown is this a subtle hint that a walk in the cold and rain is not on his agenda for today!

Bets news after 3 weeks the finches have found the seed feeder and were dashing at it from the trees grabbing food and then dashing back to the trees. When I stop scaring them I will take a picture for you.
