Have just been out for our anniversary tea yes it has been 2 years already.
I feel decidedly bloated we went to an Indian restaurant on the recommendation of an Indian gentlemen friend of the Italians.
Very nice food although much confusion that necessitated P running after the waiter when we realised he was getting the Tikka Flame grill not the tikka flame special which was a cocktail! almost got a huge plate of meat instead of peach schnapps and cranberry.
Then my Mango lassi came as a jug full instead of a glass , but we managed to finish that off. I think we were having kiwi to Indian translation difficulties.

I had to take the car in to the garage again to try and find 5Th gear, now we have reverse we have lost 5Th. After an hour there they decided they need to order a part and I drove to work missing first and second a fun trip with lots of revving in intersection so as not to stall
be all better by Tuesday so am leaving it in the work car park till then and getting the train.
Have the possibility of a months house sit in Glasgow, we contacted them months ago but they already had a sitter and now it has fallen through and our arrival date there fits perfectly ( hi Niki) and we get to have pets for a while which will be lovely as I miss Gem and even Stormy the worlds most annoying cat.
If it works out might look at settling in Glasgow instead of Edinburgh as the festival in August could muck up our chances of an apartment in Edinburgh. ( they can charge huge rents for the weeks and month so why rent to us). The months sit would give us plenty of time to check it all out and not rush. By coincidence the house owners are going to NZ and OZ even to Christchurch . small world huh.

Hi Jude and Perry - Just had to write and say HAPPY ANNIVERSARY - where did the two years go? Good to catch up on your travel plans.
Just had Rob and his girlfriend home from Tokyo. Phil still in London - he has made the most of it and has been to Ireland, Wales, Belgium, Spain, Portugal, Germany - all within the last six months - I'm so envious!!).
ANYWAY - look forward to the next posting. Cheers and Love from Judy and Paul.
