Had a couple of night out one having a lovely meal and making balloon animals
and one having pizza in a cavern with our italian neighbour
weekend was himself for 5 hours at the book barn and I had a lovely shop in Wells and then the book barn ( only 1 hour for me)
interesting day at work
they advised that there was a disco in the school hall sadly two other groups in there
movement to music and later kick boxing!
and neither wanted to move
took me a good hour to phone sort placate etc
one thing I have noticed over here they dont like taking on any extra duties or change
which when I am managing a staff of 35 makes it very frustrating implementing anything or even trying to streamline things
found out today that the wood workshop ( that a man who has lung trouble works in ) has not been cleaned for 8 years no wonder it is dusty the cleaners thought the technician did it and the tech thought the cleaner should do it ..so no one has .. dust on top of dust
where were health and safety guys!

have sent away for the learn italian by music cds that are all the rage ( got them cheap on ebay ) they make songs of the phrases, I thought I could put it on my phone and listen on the train
C sounds very happy enjoying her lectures even the harder honours ones then again only been 3 days! Her bags arrived which was great would have been terrible to lose all her favorite and new stuff.
ps finger ok no infection at all just a big bruise the lenght of my nail

Hi you two over there - was getting worried when no posting since the bags were lost - pleased that C has been reunited with them.
Good catching up with your news - we are having rob and his girlfriend Miki home for a week or two end March from Tokyo, and Miki wants me to teach her how to make a banana cake - ME!! Anyway have dug out recipe and will attempt to make one before they get here. Had an email the other day from Chuck an American (wouldn't you have guessed?) we met briefly 12 months ago at the Nelson market - so they are returning to N.Z. and will have a kiwi style bbq with us on Tuesday (mental note to practice a good kiwi bbq before they get here). All going well here in Nelson - take care over there both of you. Judy and Paul
