A quiet week so far, talked to C last two mornings as I have paid for a months calls to NZ while she was in hospital. She is loving flatting, all that cooking and cleaning and they have already had their first party. Only her and 1 other girl at the moment and very happy. We have managed conversations that are full of average things, lots of catchup that you don't bother with on an ordinary expensive mobile call.
Work is going well although my desk space has disappeared with the arrival of a new temp. She made what was my favorite comment of the week, when asked if she knew how to operate the complicated exam census programme she replied " I sat opposite a lady that ran it at one of my temp jobs" She must have absorbed it by osmosis.
I have a governors meeting tomorrow and need to prepare all sorts of reports, two I found out I had been volunteered for when I got the agenda this afternoon. Should fill in tomorrow. Only 9 sleeps till C visits.
