Saturday night went out with C & M had a lovely Pear, Gorgonzola, walnut pizza sounds weird but very nice.
Then we all went to a nightclub Mike wanted to visit. Oceana has 5 differently themed areas each the size of a normal bar. We got there at 10.30 so were well before the normal queuing time. Lots of people inside though. We started in the French Boudoir this was a shock when you are expecting disco and lights, it was all red velvet, dark wood and reclining nude paintings, quite small and very pleasant . A magician came to our table and did some card tricks ( no cost he works for the club)he was very skilled.
Then on to the Aspen Ski Lodge area, this one was all wood and ski's and an open fire and the first of the "hen Parties" in the Uk stag and hen parties are on every weekend groups of 6-10 women or men out to have one last lear up before marriage. the bride to be always wears a tacky little veil so we can tell it is her. In the course of the evening we saw the following themes
- Miss... all dressed like beauty contestants with sashes all a different mis's mistake misterious etc and they wore tiaras
- blonde's these all wore little black dresses and matching blond bob wigs
pirates patches stripy shirts cutlasses - beach maidens ( a bit of a cruel look this one and the swimsuit top was a bit figure hugging as this was a larger built group and straw skirts
- The pinks all in pink with pink cowboy hats
- men life guards
- Mexicans with big hats
Then we moved to the Ice Reykjavik room this was a dance club theme like the ones you see in Ibiza all pulsing lights and thumping music, also lots of skimpy outfits ( shorts and high heels seem to the the look). Then the Disco room with a glass floor with the changing colours and masses of lightds and disco ballsthen to the Sydney harbour room, a couple of aborigine style paintings and pine ( and the smoking balcony)

A good night out but would have been more fun at 19, will show Claire where it is when she and O come over in January I am sure they will love it.
Sundaysleep in, have decided to keep on in this flat for the next 6 months, the location is sooooo good and it is very quiet, best sleeps ever.
then off to the International Kite festival a bus ride and then a walk through the grounds of the
stately home Ashton Court ( huge estate in Bristol that holds music fests etc)and on top of the hill lots and lots of kites, big ones a synchronised kite display where they swooped and made box shapes etc very good and colourful.
