Veges

On Saturday
We went to
the final of the
Bath Music Festival it was a man from Mauritius
who played guitar and all sorts of electronic recording
playback clever stuff ( should have been in a beach bar )
and an african band, it was bizarre to have them both playing to a square hall full of white middle class, middle aged
Bath residents.... not their normal audience and quite funny to see the few that thought they might dance attempting to move to the beats.

On Sunday
We went for a long walk and were passed by a steam train. and then up to the top of Beechen Cliff where it suddenly turned from
city into beautiful countryside, hate to image the house prices

Check out the
courgettes who are bursting out all over

Still loving my job it is nice to do what I want when I want, I spent most of today looking at fund raising grant web sites and school prospectuses ( 4th declension) on line.

Beats sums any day! did do a fancy excel graph for my office mate ( the school Business Manager) who had a governors meeting tonight.

Everyday I have men in suits come to pitch their case for winning the tender ( well to get ideas on what we want so they can get some inside running,) now if I see a suit in the foyer I know it will be for me!

P not working now as Italian work in NZ getting sorted ready for publication back over here
and school exams are over so no invigilating today he did get to be a lunch lady at lower school and walk round outside making sure they picked up the mess etc... reminded him why he does not want to teach.

it was meant to rain today and I predicted it to start at 11,37 but it didn't.......

did watch the squirrel hang upside down off a branch to get the seeds from the "squirrel proof" bird feeder..sorry about the layout is is just a bit uncouth tonight
