Otherwise a quiet week. P observed art exams for a couple of days so had some income.
At the weekend we went to town for brunch at a trendy vegetarian cafe above the sort of shop that sells things you don't need but are good for presents for people who have everything.
Then a garden/ weeding session in our patch of garden and a game of badminton
Sunday we went to watch the annual boules competition between local cafes pubs and business groups. Fantastic food on offer as you would expect and we bought a painting of ladies playing boules ( will publish a photo after we have it framed.)
It got a bit colder so P got out his black sweater only to find he had bought his dressing gown instead..oops much amusement.. he didn't wear it though he could have pretended he was french maybe.
Then to garden shop for some new plants then home change into walking shoes and a walk to the top of another of Bath's hills to a garden centre with a great view of Englishcombe a very pretty village and a coffee and cake, a few more plants and back down the hill to plant them all.
I have used an old chimney pot as a stand for the french runner beans it looks mush in keeping with the house.
