The photo on the right is the present P bought me back from Italy ( not the norm for him) it is a model of an Ape the locals
truck, no drivers license required and they load it to the top with stuff and family members... I have it on the shelf along side my vintage bambina.
We pottered on Saturday and then went out at night to the speigeltent ( one of those flash wooden floor, mirrored booths, velvet roof type tents) as part of the fringe fest, we saw a a blues singer who was very good.
P and I went out for a meal and watched a lot of Bath citizens walk by on their
way to posh nights out and dressed as tarts for hens nights out.
We then met friends 2 women and 3 men.
They had all been sitting in the sun at local pub so the men were a bit tipsy, one got a bit narked as he was told to sit down when he went to lean on a pole to get a better look.
We had lots of laughs and a few wines then all walked home up the hill
Sunday we went shopping to buy some casual shoes for work as all my sandals
are weekendy and I am not wearing heels in the heat. Must have visited every shoe store in Bath. I did finally get a nice pair stylish and good soles.
P bought two pairs of jandals at £6 each a bargain you can pay £60 for jandals with a posh name on!
P is invigilating today so that will be boring for him
oh and we bought a badminton set and set it up on the second lawn .. not the football playing one and we had a great 2 games and won 1 each
