bon jour, je suis a Paris et il est tres bon,
Those three years of French so worthwhile now!
anyway yes we are in Paris easy trip over i think the bus from home to the airpport longer than getting to paris!
Pain towing my 21 kilo bag but I went with a smaller backpack instead of my bigger carry on and that was a lot easier
used my christmas present from Claire and Oren ( an MP3 player ) to fill in the time.
we are in Nation part of Paris and in a lovely if small 2star hotel. Our room fits a bed,,,,, thats it really but we do have a tiny en suite as well.
a really nice area we went for a long walk around the big Place de Nation and had dinner in a cafe Perry had a big sausage and mashed spud in a cast iron dish and I had salad fried spuds and a long piece of toasted roll with 4 difference cheeses, nicer than it sounds.
We went then went for another walk and stopped for tea and cofee and then to a bakery for desserts to take home.
Now watching telly in French we do get the coice of german or spanish programmes as well.
Wierdly they played the sharks blues game of rugby from Auckland.
Full day here tomorrow, will look for a nice uni for Claire to transfer over.
bon nuit
