Flat hunting

We had a day in the web yesterday apart from 2 walks with the dogs we looked for flats and jibs.
Then today we went to Edinburgh.
Drove then park and ride and bus and got to the first viewing 15 mins late... but as it was opposite a flour mill and next to above a chippy not a great loss.
Then walked back through Leith very like the Bristol docks would be a good place so will look there ( only downside is road works on the road to the city centre so hold ups getting to work).

Off to Stockbridge which has been every ones suggestion of a nice place to live, we checked out a few more the last at 6.00 was then best really nice area and clean with new furniture a decent mattress and a parking space. Rang to take it and apparently everyone who views that like it ( and they all will ) apply and the one with the best references wins!!!!

So drove home took half hour to get to park and ride (by the airport) and 1 hour to get home.

dogs pleased to see us and went for a walk before tea. They have been no trouble and seem to love us to bits!

Looking to buy a new laptop so P can have mine sadly will move most of my installed programmes!
Claire enjoying her new job at the cafe learning how to make all the different coffees.
Glenda sent me some amazing snow photos and the lady we are house sitting for tells me Brisbane is cold and wet. Warm In Edinburgh seems a few degrees warmer and dryer then Glasgow every time we go.
