Maybe a home

A stunning sunny hot day in Edinburgh, we drove over for more job and house hunting. Some hope on both fronts , I am being put forward for a job as Finance Manager for a large charity organisation ( and it pays OK again) and we found a flat and put down a deposit but it is subject to credit checks and annoyingly they need us to have a job.

that old catch no job no flat no flat no job we got over it in Bristol by getting a letter from the teaching agency that P was registered with so we are trying the same with the agencies we are registered in Edinburgh.

Flat is wonderful on the water side, just 4 mtrs of grass and then the river, a walkway down the other side with seats. It has nice tidy concrete sides so is more like a canal.

It is in Leith which is the new trendy area with lots of cafes and bars and boats made into restaurants. Comes with 2 sunny side bedrooms a lounge over looking the water ( see picture)

and a lovely well equipped kitchen, and even a park for the car. Which got it's MOT so has another year of life.

Cross your fingers for us.

Otherwise we had a second one we liked that we said yes to and then had to phone back and say we found this better one... oops bet the agent was not happy.

It was lovely wandering about in the sun for a change. Edinburgh is definitely a nicer climate than Glasgow.

Sadly we got a parking ticket while sorting out the let!!!!! P Very unhappy about that.
