Italy post 4

the grey one is Hotel Ping Pong

Paul and Kay up early to go on another walk but P and I slept in and then headed off to Rome and the beach area of Ostia Antica.

Arrived mid afternoon found our hotel The Ping Pong..... what a name, still only E35 per night with breakfast included so a great deal and on the beach front.


We put on our jandles and headed for a walk along the beachfront the italians all in coats scarves and boots as 20deg is cold to them.
Had a good wander about the town and then settled in a cafe with a wine/ beer and watched the world go by.

Next day we were up and off to the airport with a side visit to a castle and a lovely castle area of houses, see photos, just the sort of area it would be nice to live in.

easy flight back to Bradford Leeds airport and torrential rain.. oh joy.

Rushed home and dropped our passports into the envelope with the application for Indefinite Leave to remain that I had completed earlier. We had to get the application in before our Visa expires which was the next day so we cut it fine.

Now we have to wait..... cant go anywhere, good thing we have jobs already, just have to wait for a month or two? or more? or less? no idea really  just hoping they say yes we can stay.
