1940's weekend

Back from Italy for what seems like weeks now... and not a lot has happened. We go to work and then home again, the weather has turned cold again so no incentive to do much. Having said that we had been planning to go to a 1940's weekend this weekend and looked at staying over night, looked at hiring the appropriate clothes but in the end just went for a day trip.


There were a reasonable number of people "in costume" and I have added some photos.

Shame we didn't make the effort I think P would have looked smart in a uniform and I already own stockings with a seam up the back.



There were a lot of fur coats about the only time it is acceptable to wear them I expect.
