March

Glorious daffodils everywhere, masses all along the sides of the roads ,in clusters under trees, in my lounge, the brits do spring well.

P got home safely from Italy a bit tired. Not such a succesful trip as it was cold and raining and they kept running out of daylight.
Still it was a lovely weekend here so I dragged out to Long Acre park and we wandered amongst the trees, blossom and daffodils, as well as the cake and cuppa at the cafe.

Found a sign for the national hosta collection with one named after my dad, sadly could not find it growing in the gardens.

Then home and he slept on the sofa in the sun for a couple of hours.
Back at work today and it was so warm I wore a dress and no stockings, a bit of spray tan though as the legs were a bit white. Off to Chess at the Leeds Opera House this week, I last saw it Dunedin before Claire was born.
