We went out on Friday night with Joe's workmates and one came dressed as the joker and even knew a lot of the lines, he was very good until he drank he started by buying 2 large ciders and drunk from both one mouthful from each alternately, he then 4 cocktails lined up all for him ( they were half price so the rest of us had one he had 4 to himself. There was carol dressed in hospital green scrubs, and Steve was pained yellow as Homer Simpson, I had a bright orange top as my contribution to Halloween and the others had nothing, although P gained some horns.
We all met at a bar that was a yacht,it was disconcerting as the floor sloped and after a couple of drinks coming back from the loo was decidedly uphill.
We then moved to a bar that was
giving out free cocktails in exchange for a flyer..which Steve had bought with him.We sat down and got given those horrible Mojitos ( the mint flavour one ) sadly the joker threw up in the foyer!!! and we were asked to take him away.. nice So we went down the road a bit and he was sick again ( 24 you see and all those drinks what an idiot)
So he headed off we went to one more pub and I had stopped drinking and felt alright. Joe had a headache today just one beer too many,( Sorry the photos are rubbish but they are from my phone and it does not have a flash.)
I hope he got home safely I guess P will fi nd out Monday.
We had a frustrating morning trying to get the car tax paid as we can not drive the car and we cant get a new one until they get our change of address right and the copy of the insurance which we are waiting to receive.... how will I get to work....
Sunday a long walk as it was a crisp but sunny day, we walked down to the Links ( the home of Golf and then along an old railway line in a big loop back to home.
I made a big pot of vegetable soup for my weeks lunches lots of pumpkin and kumura with some lentils and lots of flavourings... yummy.
Who is that happy devil?
