Twickenham

Well we got a bus and rode for about 1.5 hours to Richmond and looked for somewhere to live. Went past Wimbledon and saw where they play the tennis, very nice area with big houses and a golf course and common over the road.
We went to a couple of agents ( one really hard sell) and then to Twickenham , yes the rugby town and looked at a flat, it was a top floor and the couple were moving out of their home so not a rental property.
Seemed very small a bedroom lounge about 4m x 3 m a kitchen to fit one person small bathroom
but did have a deck on the back and half a garden! For £900 per month was a bit out of our price range if we don't get a lot of work.
It was very like Christchurch with nothing ethnic, no sari shops or cornrow hairdressers.

then 3 trains back and now we are on the net deciding on other less expensive areas to try for a flat. No photos today although we had a lovely walk along the river in Twickenham and it was sunny and warm.
