London

We made it, and the sun is shining.
After a long long flight with poor P bent in half and the seat in front reclining we finally arrived in London.
The worry we had of immigration and customs proved groundless as we got off the plane got our bags, the immigration man asked where my grandparent was from , we discussed NZ cricket and then in.
Customs was empty even if you had something to declare there was no one to tell, it was 5.30 in the morning so I guess they were still in bed.

After a little discussion we got a taxi £60 to Streatham ( the thought of dragging our bags on the tube and then buses and then a taxi was to much for me)
We are staying with a friends sister ( and what a lovely house) we are on the 3rd floor with a view of the garden and the rooftops of London. The house is very luxurious and has a lovely garden with squirrels and pigeons.
In Streatham High street where we got new sim cards for our phones £10.
There are lots of people from all over the world and the area we are in is Indian and there are sari shops in the high street .
Lovely and sunny everyone friendly and helpful so far, next big thing will be deciding where to live.
miss you all, look after my girl and give her a hug if you see her.
