Back in uk

Easy trip back to Calais and then a choppy wet rainy crossing but still smooth in side the ferry.

I had another week off but P went back to work.

The following weekend we walked along the Regents canal from the posh huge house end, along the gardens to Campden lock markets. The houses are beyond belief huge white mansions with pillars etc.
The canal had canal boats and gardens.
Quite a long walk but very pleasant.
At the market were hundreds of people all shopping and eating from the hundreds of stalls.

We managed to get the river taxi back so saved on the feet.

LAst weekend we rode our bikes from Greenwich to Arsenal
Passing the O2
Going across the gondola from one side of the Thames to the other
Visiting the Thames Barrier
Watching old old sailing ships go up the Thames as part of the tall ships event
Painfully riding back.....

This weekend we went with C and B to the Thames festival along the banks and visited the Tate, food and craft markets, singers, dancers rain and shine.
