We had to get up at 5.30 to get to the park but we launched at 7.am and it was so quiet, just drifted up and over the school building I was project manager for so got some great photos.
It was a virgin balloon that held 16 of us in 4 corners of the main basket and a glass of champagne when
we got underway.
Fantastic views away out to sea, down the coast and lots of back yards. Got up to 3000ft.
Then across the countryside and a landing in a cropped field. The pilot have a map of farmers who dont mind and those who get grumpy. They never land with animals or crops in the paddocks. it was bit bumpy landing but the basket stayed upright.
