Edinburgh part 2

Still deep deep snow and the news is full of reports of people stuck in their cars for hour at a time.

Had a nice meal at an indian restaurant last night, Oren had the hottest curry and looked like he was going to melt.

We went for a walk around Leith , where we lived for a year and remembered old times.

Got the bus to town and walked up calton hill and played in the snow, tried to slide down on a bag but it did not work very well at all.

Next day was a castle visit day and a spot of shopping in Princes street.
We had a good potter round, in the evening we did a tour through the medieval underground homes off the Royal mile, really interesting. Glad it was not me cold and dark.

Long long long trip back no road problems as motorway kept clear. Finally home at 7.00.

Back to work now, still cold.
It was the most beautiful countryside when we drove back, maybe I should try painting it, all I need is white paper and put in a tree.

Had my office christmas dinner last night, lots of fun.photo.JPG Debbie happy after the 2 for 1 cocktails...... better not show this photo to her Steve.
