P is still away having a lovely time, sunning himself on the veterans tour hotel balcony overlooking the beach....The tour itself has been very disorganised and he never got to give his main presentation, people have been left behind and missed the bus, gates have been locked etc I am sure he will blog it all.
He tells me he is very very tired after it all.. still back tomorrow.
Meanwhile I have been working on the New building going through each room and deciding what needs to be in it. I have also arranged to have the old school foyer and Heads office painted over the holidays ( I move into her office for the next 8 weeks so might as well have it nice)
I had visitors arrive on Saturday Dani and Ryan from London but really from Dunedin, NZ.
They are coming t the end of their 2 years and trying to fit a bit more sightseeing in.
We had glorious weather really hot blue skies etc so went to town and I thought a stroll along the towpath to the Pub would be nice and it was lots of boats going through locks etc sadly it was a lot further than I remember and we were well ready for a sit down and a drink. We got the bus back after walking across the bridge on the Avon, it was a silly little bridge and a man was there in his flouro vest collecting 60p from all the cars that crossed.
The back to town and tea at a Portuguese restaurant. Then home
and a bounce on the trampoline.. Sunday they went on a bus tour to Stonehenge where disaster struck when a nice man offered to take their picture and dropped Dani's camera and the lens is now stuck in the open position.
We all headed off to the local bar/cafe and met Debbie and Steve and had tea a yummy leak and pea tart which P would have hated, and then started answering questions. Good time had by all and we were 4th out of 13.
Monday warm but had rained over night, we headed to town and camera shops but no good news at all, they say it will have to have a new lens.
