work was about the same the ex bursar Dave was in today to do some budgeting for next year ( he was half way through when he left so has come to finish)
then I shot off to the dentist as the tooth they fixed had a corner fall off! all fixed at no cost
then got my car and headed off to the DVLA to get a UK drivers license, as I have not been here 2 years no one could sign my lovely picture and I had to go the DVLA centre, and they only open till 5 so it had to be a work day
managed to find it using google maps and the M32, some nasty traffic on the way back but ok
actually quite easy tho not happy about my passport being sent away.
gave them my international drivers ( the ugly AA cardboard one) so I could keep my photo nz one. should be back in a few weeks then we can get cheaper insurance and rental cars.
