Out for dinner

Well today up we got pottered about and then got the train to Bristol, nice coffee stop at an italian bakery and then a shop in the new mall, a walk on the waterfront and off to the restaurant to meet the Smiths our Bristol friends.

we arrived early at 6.15 at los Iguana so had yummy peach schnapps, vodka and orange cocktail ( 2 for one) then a raspberry cocktail by now it was 6.45 and they were due at 6.30

at 7.00 we asked the waitress if there was another Los Iguana and there was in Clifton on the hill in Bristol.... hmm could they be there? we rang and then we rang again

they answered " where were we " Los Iguanas" we looked around could not see them "are you in Clifton?" "no we are in Bath".... they had gone to Bath to meet us from their home in Bristol and we had left Bath to go to Bristol

so we were both sitting in a Los Iguanas in each others town thinking how late each other was!

anyhoo they got in the car and drove over ( 40 mins later) they arrived and we had a fabulous Brazilian inspired meal.

how we laughed

moral always check restaurant address not just the name.
