nearly christmas

Snow warning
all over England but here still no real snow although we got some freezing flakes on us
when we
went for a long walk in the country yesterday though a beautiful village Newton St Loe nothing modern
in the whole
village except the parked cars and not many of them. all old
stone alleyways and a great church,

Good thing was we ended our walk in a pub
sitting by their open fire mmmmm eating spicy pepper and tomato soup yummy.

today -4 deg so very cold we went off to town to a
book shop. Joe took ages to get through all
the war books.I found walking in the Cotswolds and 50 walks in Wilshire , so I bought both.

Then a long walk home trying to find a used car sale yard ( never did ) the the footpath was really frost and scary to
walk on my fingers were frozen even with gloves one.

Work tomorrow but it should be really quiet as only me and Mandy ( who shares my office ) and the cleaners. oh and P doing his health and safety stuff.

quiz tonight specialist round xmas number ones I assume they mean the song at the top of the charts over here it is such a big event!

We will spend Christmas day here and have decided to treat ourselves with anything we like from the market and shops for a festive lunch. We have a party to go to on Christmas Eve with "games" should be fun, it is at our friends Debbie and Steve's home.

oh oh it was snowing when we came out from the quiz so we got to walk home in the snow flakes, ( and watch a car skid round a corner) not a very good snow as it has just started.
