Hello folks, well in our lounge we have himself with a red blanket round his shoulders a beany on his head and hunched over the heater ( a bit crook... a saying which completely confused our south african supply cooridnaor when she rang him to work), a blue plastic ball that is running up and down and up and down along the carpet powered by buddy then hamster. She loves it. jumps out of her cage door to get in it then speeds around the place, if I forget to block the 2 stairs she even fies off them in it.
Main pattern is just back and forward.
We had friends over for dinner on Saturday night and after watching all of masterchef I thought I should make an effort so I made bread ( lots of kneading) , cannelloni, and for dessert a tarte citron.
The tart was a mission as you have to make the lemon filling over a double boiler and nothing
seemed to happen for ages then in seconds it was thick. we had a lovely night I bought a Maclaren Vale Shiraz sorry NZ but south Aussi make the best ones and Maclaren Vale the best of all.
Lots of laughs and buddy came out and ran round in her ball for a bit as well.
It is midterm break this week and co-workers going to Egypt, Florida, Spain, France and Cyprus to name a few. we are staying home but then we do get to Bali next month to have the 21st birthday cathup with Claire and Oren. Cant wait to see them and the warm sunny beaches.
C has finished uni and is now studying for final exams for her Bcom. She has been asked to do an MBAand could not say no so she will be there another 18months completing that.
Art class on Monday nights is fun we make a lot of mess with charcoal and pastels so far. Mine is the man and P did the pots.
