summer holidays

School closed for 5 weeks holidays, they come back for the 2nd September. I on the other hand will work another couple of weeks then go away on the 17th.
It has been a good week lots done a good arts and technology evening with orchestra and choirs and art displays. The school has a national award winning brass band that has 7 saxophones, a bit different.

P has not worked as there is no need for supply teachers, but he is busy sorting the captions for the Italian book. And applying for jobs that are few and far between.

This weekend we plan to take a train the Keynsham and walk back along the canal path, should take all day so hope it is not raining.

We went out for dinner this week at a friends and had a lovely meal with them and their two daughters. One of which has just come back from a southern tour and she had a great time in New Zealand. It was lovely to have them at the meal and a boyfriend as well, though it made me miss having Claire round.

Congratulations to Juri and Stephen on the birth of Sky, I hope you are both well.
